On 15 June 2026 (25 Khordad 1405), Darya BookCity’s children’s and young adult section hosted a lively, creative and interactive programme led by storyteller and child facilitator Hamzeh Khoshbakht. Children and their families took part in an atmosphere shaped by enjoyment, learning and creativity.
The children joined a range of activities, including storytelling, poetry readings, children’s songs and group games. Engaging stories and direct interaction created a warm, energetic setting that encouraged their active participation throughout the programme.
In the crafts workshop, the children used simple tools and materials to turn their ideas and imaginations into creative work. Alongside enjoyment and play, the activities were intended to strengthen fine motor skills, concentration, creativity and cognitive development.
The event sought to foster a culture of reading, bring children into closer contact with books and stories, and cultivate their creativity and personal and social skills. It was warmly attended by children and families.
