The launch ceremony for Homeland in Artistic Creation, written by Mehdi Asadzadeh, was held at Kashan BookCity on the evening of Monday, 15 June 2026 (25 Khordad 1405).
The event brought together members of Kashan’s cultural and artistic community. Dr Abbas Akbari, professor of architecture and art at the University of Kashan, and Dr Mahdieh Gheysari, professor of Persian language and literature, discussed and critically examined the book. Dr Hossein Baghshikhi moderated the programme.
Mehdi Asadzadeh, born in 1973 (1352 in the Solar Hijri calendar), studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Tehran and at the University of Art in Isfahan. His experience includes university teaching, work in painting and poetry, and organising numerous art exhibitions.
Homeland in Artistic Creation was published by Sourah Tamasha Publishing. The session ran from 8 to 10 p.m. and ended with conversation and an exchange of views among those present.
